It was great to participate in this year’s Malmo Music Conference (back at IRL events finally!) – joining a panel discussion called ‘Your Music – Your Business’. In today’s ever-changing music business, musicians need to be both creative and entrepreneurial, but also tech savvy. It’s not just about creating good music, it’s equally important to think commercially, as having both give the best chances to succeed. The panel featured leaders from tech companies including Amuse, Low-Fi Concerts and Linkfire. Discussing how to help creators navigate both the commercial and creative challenges of an independent musician.
